The workshop takes place every 3 years and aims to bring together the latest advances in research of pome fruit diseases, to provide an opportunity for exchange of information and ideas and to stimulate common research and collaboration.
The workshop program includes oral and poster sessions, plenary discussions, a meeting with growers and advisors and a one-day excursion.

Special attention will be given to poster presentations in plenary discussions during the meeting. During the workshop there will be a special symposium on sustainable disease management where also growers and advisors from Bulgaria and neighboring countries will be invited to attend.
Prior to the 12th International IOBC-WPRS Workshop on Pome Fruit Diseases, a 1-day meeting (Sunday 14 June) will be organized by the “Lenticel rot group”. This is an open discussion group with the main goal to discuss the latest research results related to storage diseases. The official language will be English.
Abstracts must be sent to seminar local convenor email@example.com or through the registration form by 30 March 2020. Abstracts will be reviewed for acceptance by a scientific committee, and authors will be notified by 21 April 2020 whether their abstract has been accepted. Submitted abstracts will be printed in the book of abstracts handed out to participants during the meeting.
Authors may express their choice of oral or poster presentation; however, the scientific committee may invite the authors to change this choice.
All participants must complete the online registration form. Delegates having submitted an abstract for an oral or poster presentation must register before 30 March 2020 for their abstract to be included in the final program and abstract booklet.
The registration fee covers all sessions, workshop materials, IOBC-WPRS Bulletin (e-bulletin), welcome evening, coffee breaks, lunches, social activities, excursions and the workshop dinner.
